During our recent city break, we had the pleasure of staying at Los Tucanes Lodging in El Castillo de La Fortuna, Costa Rica, and it was an absolute delight. Upon arrival, the warm and friendly couple who run the place made us feel right at home, accommodating us on short notice after our camping plans were dashed by an unexpected storm. Our quadruple room was both charming and practical, featuring a private bathroom with plenty of toiletries, and a balcony that offered stunning views of both the mountains and city – a perfect spot for morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. The location couldn't be beaten, just a stone’s throw from La Ventanita, a cute little restaurant that boasts spectacular views and delicious food. To top it off, the daily breakfast was scrumptious, ensuring we started our mornings on a high note. Plus, with laundry facilities and a handy tour desk on-site, we felt well catered for throughout our stay. Highly recommended for families like mine, who appreciate nature and comfort combined! Pura vida!
